Transport & Environment-
Beyond Burning

The Amazon has a new predator

Creative strategy and concept development, typography and layout design.

With the increasing pressure of the climate crisis, there has been a rising use of alternative energy sources, one of which is biofuels. However, growing the crops needed for biofuel is destroying vast amounts of precious rainforest in South America. This is having devastating effects on the ecosystem, and as a result, the world.

Earlier this year, Transport and Environment approached Daughter to help build a campaign for their new sub-organisation Beyond Burning, designed to target this industry and start the movement away from biofuels.

My role at Daughter has allowed me to explore creativity outside of design, coming up with concepts for campaigns such as this.

I worked as part of a team, building the initial concept, which I then illustrated before sending to the CG company. We decided to work with Platinum as they are not only highly skilled but based in Brazil.

I then proceeded to help oversee the artwork development, providing feedback on layout, imagery and colour.

Once the design was complete, I worked on developing the type, which I decided to immerse into the image.
